Logos
A logo is a symbol that makes your brand recognizable, and in general, should be free of excess clutter. Because of the many ways potential clients can come across your logo, logos should be simple, flexible, and scalable for digital and print production. When I create a logo, I start with a black and white color palette to make sure that the elements are balanced, and provide contrast at large and small sizes.

Commemorative Logos
The original logos below (on the left) were created by different designers. For commemorative logos, I match the design of the original and add other elements to it to make look celebratory (on the right). Below are are a few examples.
Tiki, the lemur, was almost chosen for the celebratory logo for Hinman College. The blue one was chosen because Tiki is not known to older alumni.
